As we kick off "the most wonderful time of the year," we did something really fun tonight. My parents brought over my niece and nephew and we made Christmas cookies. There was such a mess I can't even begin to describe it but we had some great fun. I'm not sure who had more fun the adults or the kids and it only took me an hour to get all the icing off of my dining room table. Great pictures and memories make it all worth it.

I just got cookie cutters to do this with the kids this year for the first time. Next year, use a vinyl table cloth that you can just throw away at the end!
